WhatsApp Wrapped is a Spotify-Wrapped-style card for your chat: total messages, longest streak, busiest hour, top emoji and who really texts first, rendered into a story-sized image you can post. It is built from your exported chat entirely on your device — the export never leaves your phone, and you can hide names behind initials before sharing.

Your chat never leaves this device. The export file is parsed by JavaScript running in your browser — there is no upload, no server and no account. You can even switch off your internet before dropping the file.

How to use this tool

    WhatsApp → the chat → Export chat → Without media. Android hands you a .txt, iPhone a .zip — both work here as-is.

What is WhatsApp Wrapped?

A year-in-review-style summary card of a chat — message totals, streaks, busiest hour, top emoji and top texter — inspired by Spotify Wrapped but generated privately on your own device from your chat export.

Do I have to upload my chat to get my Wrapped?

No, and you should be suspicious of any tool that asks. Here the export is parsed by JavaScript in your browser; the Wrapped card is drawn on a local canvas and saved straight from it.

Can I hide names on the shared card?

Yes — the anonymize toggle replaces every name with initials before the card renders, so you can post the numbers without exposing who is who.

What sizes does the card come in?

1080×1920 for WhatsApp status and Instagram stories, and 1080×1080 for feed posts and chat sharing — both exported as PNG.

Does it work for group chats and couple chats alike?

Yes — the card highlights the top texter and conversation starter from any number of participants. For couples it doubles as a very effective settle-the-argument device.

Can I do this for last year only?

WhatsApp exports the recent history of a chat (up to its own limits), and the card shows the actual date range it covered — so a chat that spans two years is labelled as such rather than pretending to be one year.
