Discover. Design. Build. Run.

We deliver in four phases — Discover, Design, Build, Run — under four engagement models: a fixed-fee discovery sprint, a fixed-scope project with milestone billing, a dedicated team, and an SLA-backed managed retainer. Every model carries the same three commitments: fortnightly demos, direct engineer access, and IP transfer on the final invoice.

01 — THE FOUR PHASES

Each phase ends in something you keep.

A plan, a prototype, working software, a running system. Nothing is billed against a promise.

01 DISCOVER

What happens. We interview the people who feel the problem, map the workflow that's slowing you down, and price the options against payback.

What you get. A written recommendation: scope, architecture sketch, cost to build and to run — a plan you could execute with any team.

1–3 wks

02 DESIGN

What happens. We turn the chosen option into user flows, a clickable prototype, and a system architecture your IT team can interrogate.

What you get. A prototype your people can react to, a delivery plan with milestones, and an estimate that has stopped moving.

1–2 wks

03 BUILD

What happens. Sprints, with a working demo every fortnight and direct access to the engineers writing the code. QA and security run inside the sprint, not after it.

What you get. Working software every two weeks, written summaries after every session, and a repository you can see from day one.

04 RUN

What happens. We operate the system — monitoring, patching, cost reviews — or hand it over cleanly to your team. Your call.

What you get. An SLA-backed retainer, or a complete handover: every repo, credential, and document on the final invoice.

02 — ENGAGEMENT MODELS

Four ways to buy, priced by structure.

We publish how each model works and what moves the price — and put the numbers in a written estimate, not a rate card.

01

Discovery Sprint

Best when you know the problem, not the solution.

One to three weeks, fixed fee, defined deliverables. We map the workflow, score the options by cost and payback, and hand you a prototype, an architecture, and a written estimate. The plan is yours either way.

02

Fixed-Scope Project

Best when requirements are genuinely known.

Defined deliverables with milestone billing — roughly 30% on start, 40% at mid-build, 30% on acceptance. Change requests are priced in writing before anything moves. What moves the price: scope, integrations with existing systems, compliance requirements, and how much you automate.

03

Dedicated Team

Best when you have six or more months of roadmap.

A named squad working only on your product — typically two to four engineers with a designer and a QA/PM fraction — billed monthly, scaled up or down monthly. Fortnightly demos and direct engineer access come standard.

04

Managed Services

Best when the system is live and the business depends on it.

An SLA-backed retainer: monitoring, maintenance, security patching, a bank of enhancement hours, and quarterly reviews. Tiers differ by response time and coverage window — the exact numbers go in the agreement, not the brochure.

How relationships usually evolve: most start fixed, grow into a dedicated team, and settle into a retainer once the system is live.

03 — WORKING WITH US

What working with us looks like.

We’d rather show you commitments than adjectives.

CADENCE

Fortnightly demos.

You see working software every two weeks, not status decks.

ACCESS

Direct engineer access.

You talk to the people writing the code, in your working hours.

OWNERSHIP

IP transfer on the final invoice.

Every repo, credential, and document becomes yours. No hostage code.

04 — FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

We log the change, price its impact on scope, timeline, and run cost in writing, and you decide before anything moves. Fixed-scope projects carry an open change-request process from day one — no surprise invoices, no silent scope growth. If changes keep coming, we'll say so and propose a dedicated team instead.
A working demo every fortnight, a written summary after every session, and direct access to the engineers writing your code. The repository is visible to you from day one. Progress never depends on catching us live — it's in the demo, in writing, in your inbox.
Discovery sprints start fastest: a small fixed fee and a defined output, so they don't wait on a long contract. On builds, you see the first working demo inside two weeks of kickoff and a new build every fortnight after. If a date matters — a season, a funding round — say so on the first call and we plan backwards from it.
On the final invoice — and then it's yours, unambiguously. Every repository, credential, design file, and document transfers to you. Dynamb has worked this way for 25+ years: no licensing lock-in, no hostage code. If you leave, you leave with everything another team needs to continue.

Tell us what's slow.

We'll tell you what we'd build — and what it costs to run.
