Found by search — and by the answer engines.

Search stopped being ten blue links. Buyers now take answers from AI Overviews, ChatGPT, and Perplexity before they ever reach a website, and a page that cannot be crawled, parsed, and quoted is invisible to all of them. We run technical SEO, answer-engine optimisation, and the analytics underneath both — as engineers, on the same stack we build on, and reported against enquiries rather than ranking screenshots.

01 — THE WORK

The four jobs we’re hired for.

You'd call us when your pages are indexed but never chosen, when a site move or replatform flattened your traffic, or when AI assistants answer questions about your market and never mention you.

01

Technical SEO and indexation recovery

Crawl budget, canonicals, redirect chains, sitemaps, robots directives, hreflang, and Core Web Vitals — LCP, INP, and CLS — brought inside budget. The usual finding is not thin content: it is that the page was never reliably crawled in the first place.

02

AEO: visibility inside AI answers

Schema.org entity markup in JSON-LD, a stable Organization graph with sameAs, an llms.txt that actually parses, answer-first passages an assistant can lift, and crawler access checked for GPTBot, ClaudeBot, PerplexityBot, and Google-Extended. Then measured: are you cited, and where.

03

Topical authority and content operations

Intent-mapped topic clusters, internal linking that pushes authority to the pages meant to earn it, and content shaped to show first-hand experience and expertise — the E-E-A-T signals Google asks its raters to look for. Published at a cadence your team can sustain.

04

Paid media, measurement, and conversion

Google Ads and Performance Max, paid social, and the measurement to judge them: GA4 with server-side tagging, Consent Mode, clean UTM discipline, and attribution that survives cookie loss. Then CRO on the pages the spend lands on, so more of the same traffic converts.

02 — THE PLATFORM QUESTION

Is SEO still worth it if AI answers the question first?

Yes, but the goal moved. You are no longer only competing for a click — you are competing to be the source the answer is built from, and to be the site the buyer checks before deciding. Both still rest on the same foundations: a crawlable, fast, well-structured site whose claims are specific enough to quote. What changes is the measurement. Impressions and position no longer tell the whole story, so we track citations and brand mentions inside AI answers alongside them.

WHO BUYS THIS

Marketing heads and founders who own a pipeline number, plus the e-commerce and product owners whose revenue depends on organic discovery. Strongest where the buying journey starts with a search — professional services, education, healthcare, real estate, retail, and B2B manufacturing.

03 — HOW IT RUNS

Discover. Build. Run.

The shape every engagement takes — a short paid discovery, a build you can watch, and a run phase we operate or hand over cleanly.

DISCOVER

2–3 wks

A technical and AEO audit: crawl, index coverage, structured data parsed rather than eyeballed, Core Web Vitals, competitor share of voice, and a prioritised fix list with effort set against expected return.

BUILD

by scope

The fixes shipped, not just recommended — templates, schema, redirects, internal linking, page speed, and the first content cluster. Changes land in your repository and your analytics, with the before and after measured.

RUN

ongoing

A monthly retainer: content cadence, digital PR for links, paid campaign management, and a report that leads with enquiries and assisted conversions — rankings and AI citations as the supporting evidence.

How we scope work

04 — SEARCH & PERFORMANCE

SEO and AEO are the same engineering job.

An answer engine has to do everything a crawler does — fetch the page, parse the markup, resolve the entity — and then one thing more: find a passage worth quoting. So the work does not split into two disciplines. Server-rendered HTML, structured data a parser accepts rather than merely contains, an unambiguous entity graph, and content that answers before it elaborates serve both at once. We run this discipline on dynamb.com itself, in public, and the audit trail sits in our repository.

05 — RELATED SERVICES

Adjacent practices.

04

Data Engineering & BI

Pipelines, warehouses, and live dashboards that cut reporting from days to hours.

06 — FAQ

Fair questions, straight answers.

Answer Engine Optimisation is getting your content used by AI answers — AI Overviews, AI Mode, ChatGPT, Perplexity, Copilot — rather than only ranked in a results page. It shares SEO's foundations (crawlability, speed, structured data) and adds its own: entity clarity, answer-first passages, machine-readable summaries such as llms.txt, and permitting the AI crawlers you want. You will also see it called GEO, generative engine optimisation. Same practice, different label.
Technical fixes show in Search Console within days to weeks — indexation and impressions move first. Content and authority work runs on a longer clock: three to six months before it compounds, longer in competitive categories. Anyone promising rankings in thirty days is either buying links or picking terms nobody searches. We report the leading indicators monthly so you are not waiting blind.
No, and treat anyone who does as a warning. Nobody controls Google's ranking systems, and the results page is increasingly an AI answer rather than a list. What we commit to is the work: a prioritised, published fix list, the changes shipped, and monthly reporting against enquiries. If the pipeline does not move, you can see exactly what was done and decide.
Everything that decides whether a page can rank before content matters: crawl budget and log-file evidence of what Googlebot actually fetches, index coverage, canonical tags, redirect chains, sitemaps and robots directives, hreflang for multi-region sites, JavaScript rendering, structured data validity, and Core Web Vitals. On most sites we audit, this is where the traffic is trapped.
By running a fixed set of buying-intent prompts against the major assistants on a schedule, and recording whether you are cited, which page was used, and who is cited instead. That gives share of voice and a trend line. It is a sampled measurement, not a complete one — there is no Search Console for AI answers yet, and we will not present it as though there were.
For most businesses selling something, allow them. Blocking GPTBot, ClaudeBot, or PerplexityBot removes you from the answers your buyers are reading, and it does not protect content that is already public. Publishers who monetise the content itself sometimes decide otherwise. It is a business call, so we set it out explicitly rather than letting robots.txt default it.
Usually the best arrangement. We take the engineering half — technical SEO, schema, site speed, analytics and tracking — while your team or agency keeps campaigns and brand. Everything we change lands in your repository with a written reason, so nothing depends on us staying. Where the split gets blurry, we agree ownership surface by surface up front.
It is ranking for searches carrying geographic intent — "near me", or a city name attached to your service — and it turns on a well-maintained Google Business Profile, consistent name, address and phone details across directories, reviews, and location-specific pages. Essential if you serve customers from a place or a service area. Irrelevant if you sell nationally online.
A report that opens with enquiries and assisted conversions from organic and paid, then the leading indicators behind them: index coverage, impressions and position by page cluster, Core Web Vitals, AI citation share, and campaign spend against cost per enquiry. Plus the changelog of what shipped. GA4 and Search Console stay in your accounts, so you can check every number yourself.
