Will the free version stay free?

Yes. The free version keeps every core alarm feature and is supported by ads in the mobile apps — that is what pays for it. Premium removes the ads and unlocks the advanced extras.

Why does the iPhone version work differently?

iOS does not let third-party apps ring freely from the background the way Apple's own Clock app can, so on iPhone Advance Alarm uses scheduled notifications with your chosen sound. The Android, Windows and Mac versions ring like a normal alarm clock.

How much will premium cost?

Pricing will be announced at launch. It will be a small unlock whose whole job is to remove the ads and support development — not a heavy subscription.
